Momentum combines an extensive and continuously updated database of public schools, policies, and performance data with information with analytical expertise to inform K-12 policy and practice across the country. In conjunction with a wide variety of partners and projects, Momentum’s data and expertise strengthen key policies and systems across the public education sector – with each of those engagements further expanding and enhancing Momentum’s data and experience base.

Momentum regularly collects data and information on schools and public education policy to support our work around alternative schools, school accountability, charter school facilities and funding. In addition, Momentum works with partner organizations to collect new data and information, expanding both our expertise and database.
Supporting schools and organizations with implementation
Momentum's database informs ongoing research and analysis as well as informing how policies impact school and student outcomes in K-12 public education. Our database can be used to conduct research and analysis to inform our partner organizations' priorities.

Momentum provides a variety of support services and technical assistance to schools and other educational organizations. These include both qualitative and quantitative school evaluations, school improvement support and implementation coaching, and more.
